Default lost 9900 bbprotected not listed in bbprotect account

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, Unable to retrieve/restore since lost device not listed in bbprotect account. Have the IMEI/PIN numbers. BBID is unchanged. No association with an enterprise server. Any help more than appreciated. Thanks a lot, Rael Marcus.

not sure what your trying to retrieve but BB Protect is limited in what can be restored.
This link will give more info.

How to use BlackBerry Protect to restore data to a BlackBerry smartphone

If your looking for more than one BB in the list it will show but if only one BB was "backed up" then none will show but the data will restore.

If the device is lost and it isn't showing as your device in BlackBerry Protect online, I don't know what you can do. Protect must be enabled from the device. It would seem either Protect was not enabled, or there was some glitch. If you had the device we could figure it out. I think you're out of luck.

Hi, realise I'm out of luck! A long shot....Assuming bbprotect not activated on lost device, can the IMEI number assist in retrieving data?

No, no way to add the device to Protect and initiate a backup without the device in hand. Carrier theoretically could locate the device, though won't do it just because you ask. There is really no way for your to retrieve data from the lost device.

Your only hope was a backup with Protect beforehand, or if you backed up the BlackBerry to a computer using desktop software.

Sorry.

Try calling the phone and if your lucky someone may hear it and answer if the battery is still good.
