I have 5.0.0.314 on my bold 9000 with AT&T, i am wondering are you guys when talking about reboots, does it constantly reboot where you cannot use the device? or randomly reboots?

Because mine occassionally reboots, usually its really a quick reboot only maybe 5 seconds before its back again and can be used immedately after the reboot. Reboots occur randomly sometimes once a hour or once every 4 hours or so depending on what i am doing. I just recently installed .314 sunday night. Havent really used it heavily yet. Tomorrow i will be using it heavily, as i use google maps for traveling.

For those of you using .348 with AT&T 9000 Bold...is it still necessary to mess with the native browser to make it active?

Default SMS message tracking died on .348

I have the same problem on a Rogers supplied (but very unbranded since then) Bold 9000. .314 worked fine. I even tried the trick of pulling out the SIM, rebooting (without SIM) and setting the SMS parameters and then putting it all back together again.

I'm going back down to .314 because I need that one rotten little feature to work for me - unless anyone else has some good news to share? [Note; I went back to .314 and the SMS notification thing is fixed again :( ]

From what I gather, no one is using i.e. can use] .348 on an AT&T Bold on the AT&T network currently. All of the "success stories" users are not on AT&T and are not using AT&T Bolds. That may change of course, or a newer version will be leaked.

That is why I am refraining now from posting how great it is ('cuz I know I'd hate to read about it if I were in that situation).

Thanks a bunch bro, got it downloaded and installed and can say that this runs a little smoother than .314 for me. had in installed since morning and only had two of them and I can live with that until another release.

Thanks again!!

Had to remove the link to be able to quote this message

Default Best "Rogers 5.0 release" for Bold

IMO the very best one for Rogers on a Bold is .314 - Absolutely zero issues on mine. .348 had that annoying SMS return reciept issue.

I am really waiting for a 5.0 that has Asian fonts in it (I have Japanese contacts in Outlook) and then I'd be really happy.

Can any one tell me why every time I try to install this or any 5.0 OS's it tells me they are incompatible?
