I have this all working with the following setup.

I have 2 Filters set up in my gmail. They are as follows:
1) Matches: from:(XXXXX@gmail.com) in:inbox Do this: Skip Inbox
2) Matches: in:inbox Do this: Forward to

Then I have a auto BCC to my gmail(XXXX@gmail.com) for all outgoing mail from my BB.

With this setup all my inbox mail makes it to my blackberry and when i respond from the blackberry it shows up in gmail as sent mail.

This is a good solution if you're using BIS. But it doesn't work if you're using BES as there is no auto bcc option.

Why not do both. Use your BES for your work or outlook and set up a BIS to handle the gmail.

Funny you should mention this. I just got off the phone today with my BES host and they said they cannot do an auto Bcc. I couldn't believe it. BIS has features a BES does not? Absurd. I am trying desperately to devise a way to have everything synced thru BES, and be able to save copies of every email ever sent or received by using Gmail filters. The only obstacle is the stupid BES system with no auto Bcc! (I didn;t ask, but does it do auto CC? Probably not.)

Anyway, there has to be a solution out there somewhere. It would be great if I could archive every singe email I ever came into contact with or sent out and have Gmail searchability to find them. Must - make - it - work!
