Default blackberry curve 8520 question

Please Login to Remove!

We are Located in Canada.
We have a Curve 8520 Blackberry.
Is this phone a "Curve series" phone or a "8500" series phone??
We are also looking to add Chinese language to the phone and need to be sure which application will work with this particular series phone.
We have a Chinese student staying with us and he would like to use the Chinese language with his phone while staying in Canada.
Appreciate any help!!
Thanx in advance

Moved to the appropriate section.

The phone code name is Curve, but there are several curve models beginning with the 8300 series. You should identify your device as an 8500.

As for Chinese, perhaps a search will help. You will need to load a multi-language OS that has Chinese included, or at least load the language add-in.

Check the yellow sticky at the top of the 8500 section. And remember, you must load an OS that is specifically for your device, i.e. the 8520.
