Default Message delivery delay

Please Login to Remove!

Running BPS (installed yesterday)
Exchange 2007.

The devices can send and they are received immediately on outlook and when I force reconciliation it happens instantly however there is a delay in messages being delivered....around 10 mins.

I checked the ref ID for the messages and then checked in the log and I can see that the time the message is registered in the log is when it is delivered on the device so I have concluded it can't be the BES and that it looks like a delay between BES and Exchange.
I sent PIN messages between the devices and that works perfectly so not a network issue.

I've looked in the logs for errors and the only thing I find is in the dispatcher log: DG encrypted with wrong key
No errors or nothing failed in MAGT.

I found this article:
View Document 0 86887346

I don't have those reg keys that it's referring to; the 001e6602
Before I go and change stuff I just wanted to check if anyone had seen this before?

I will be rebooting the exchnage shortly in hope this resolves it though I doubt it.

Anyone seen anything like this before?

That article is for Exchange 2003, probably why you don't have the reg keys. I would bounce Exchange and BES before playing with the registry though (just a BES restart would be worth it, no one should notice). Do check ping times between the boxes and BES->GC though, and DNS resolution just in case.

Here's what I ended up doing yesterday.
Rebooted the exchange and then the regkey appeared, I then created a new key as per article, restarted the services and that seems to have fixed it.
