hey all. I've joined the blackberry club. i've just recently purchased a curve 8310, not all there is left is getting know know the device.

im currently on a 1.5 mb data plan. so i was thinking of download softwares on my pc and uploading it to my berry instead. is that possible? and how would you go about doing it. i've gone through the manual but im still not to familiar with the process.

also, i was looking for any good stock quote websites, or software you would recommend to check stocks.

Welcome to BBF.



First, do some seareches on this website. You will find many different applications that fit your needs, and links to download via Desktop.



Once you find the app you want, use the Application Loader that is built into the Desktop Manager software that came with your BlackBerry. Also, you might want to be careful with applications that check stocks or do realtime streaming...you will quickly eat through your data limit.

Just be aware that you need to download and install the OS/handheld software for your BB on your PC before you can even use the App Loader.
