Unhappy Help! Pairing with a Jawbone

Please Login to Remove!

I have a new Pearl and a Jawbone (early release) which I have no instructions for. The headset had previously been paired with an LG phone.

I can't get the Pearl to pair with my Jawbone. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Has anyone gone through this process and if so, can you guide me? As far as I know the headset is in pairing mode when it's turned on .. but if there are extra steps to take, I'd LOVE to hear them.

Thanks!

A quick Google search for "jawbone user manual" netted this result:
http://pocketpccentral.net/pdfs/Jawbone_User_Manual.pdf

There should be a section on resetting and pairing the device.

As far as the Pearl is concerned, if you go into Options > Bluetooth, you should have an option to Add a New Device or Connect (I can't remember the exact verbiage). If the Jawbone is indeed in pairing mode, the phone will pick it up.

Default I can Google, too!

My problem isn't with the Jawbone.

But never mind.

The Jawbone has to be OFF. Press and hold the Noise Shield Button for a few seconds until the LED flashes white and red. You have two minutes to complete pairing.

Run 'Set Up Bluetooth' on your Pearl, and follow the prompts. Passkey is the usual "0000".
