Default MDS keeps dropping

Please Login to Remove!

Been searching the forums and interweb for a couple of days now and cannot find a solution - hoping someone can help.

BES version 4.1.7.18, MDS using JRE 1.6.0_17 (previously using JRE 1.6.0 rev2)

Every few hours my users can no longer browse the internet and SMIME no longer works. The MDS-CS service does NOT stop running, and event log only has this around the time it happens:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: BlackBerry MDS Connection Service
Event Category: None
Event ID: 15000

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Did you update the version of Java on the server, or did it perhaps update itself using that 'automatic update' thingy?

Na, I updated it in the hopes that it would resolve the issue. I used rev17 as we have been on it here for a while. Didn't want to use rev18 as it was just released.

Seems to be more frequent on rev17 than it was on rev2

I updated the max heap memory in the ImgPath string to 1024 (did not mess with min or string size) and it seems to have helped for now.
