Jut upgraded to a 9780 from a 9700. I like OS 6 but have a question. Is there a way to turn off the screen transitions / effects? What I mean is the flowing and sliding and all the "pretty" effects. Even though the OS is faster, it still feels slow to me waiting for the screens to open, close, go to the next message etc..

TMO - Atlanta GA - running 6.0.0.285 - Platform 96.5.0.54 - No third party apps.

yeah i have the same issue. OS5 feels faster to me though apps are def faster on OS6 imo. im not aware of a method for turning off the effects. i want em off as well. Sorry mate. :(
