Default interesitng music player bug?

Please Login to Remove!

I was listening to a 2 hour set of Armin Van Buuren (Trance DJ) and noticed when in normal mode, the music will stop playing so you can hear the tone for bbm, email, etc but then when it starts the music back up it's not where it got left off.

I was 40 minutes in the mix and when i got a bbm it restarted back at 1:40. Then i fast forwarded the mix to 39 minutes and 30 min later when my phone rang, it jumped back to where i originally seeked too...wierd.

Anyone else notice this behavior?

Yes - it's very annoying. Same thing happens with Slacker.

I have experienced this as well.

It is the only media player bug I've found.

One thing I do like now that was a PAIN before - Using a cable to connect to a car radio from the headset port in the Curve resulted in call audio being directed to the radio when you had a bluetooth headset connected. In order to answer a call in the headset, you had to unplug the cable from the Blackberry, then answer.

On the Tour, you can leave the cable plugged in and answer the call and the telephone audio goes to the BT headset and then the music audio returns to the jack when the call is done.

Had this same problem happening to me yesterday. It's not the easiest thing in the world to fast forward while driving. I haven't had a chance to test it out, but you said when it's in Normal mode that happens to you. Does that mean if I change it to any other profile this won't happen?

I use Flipside and it doesn't give me this problem. It's a good program, well worth it IMHO... it and JiveTalk are the only two pieces of software I've paid money for in years.
