I just upgraded my 7230 with the 4.0 software and have since been encountering two significant problems. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered the same:
PROBLEM #1: Decresed Volume
The receiver volume had decreased significantly. It is now haed to hear the other party when I am outside of a quiet place. Note that the background noise does not have to be significant to make it hard to hear.
The last upgrade actually IMPROVED my volume quality.
PROBLEM #2: Signal Degradation
My signal strength quality has decreased. I have noticed reduced signals in areas that have neer been a problem before. I have also encountered some lost signals altogether in areas that have never been a problem before.
I just got off the phone with T-Mobile's wireless support department. We went thru the usual "are you an idiot" questions and rebooted by removing the battery.
The volume MAY have improved but it's herd to tell by testing it in my quiet office. Same goes for the signal strength. I've never had a good signal in my office. So I'll have to go back to the places I lost signal over the past few days and see what happens. Unfortunately one of them was in a movie theater. This is gonna cost me 10 bucks. LOL
Has anyone else ever experienced theses negative changes after uprading to 4.0? If so, were you able to fix the problem?
