Default Browser intermittently not loading images

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have a website using Google static maps and the following image is intermittently displaying a red X on a BlackBerry Bold 9700 browser however if you refresh the page the image will usually display although I've seen it take 4 or 5 refreshes to display the image. The image tag is:

<img src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/staticmap?format=jpg&amp;sensor=true&amp;size=299x 199&amp;markers=color%3ared%7clabel%3a1%7c51.0823% 2c-4.05402&amp;markers=color%3ared%7clabel%3a2%7c51.2 2075%2c-3.83649&amp;markers=color%3ared%7clabel%3a3%7c51.0 715%2c-4.04833&amp;markers=color%3ared%7clabel%3a4%7c51.0 9134%2c-4.05426&amp;markers=color%3ared%7clabel%3a5%7c51.0 8884%2c-4.00256&amp;markers=color%3ared%7clabel%3a6%7c50.9 5719%2c-3.97062&amp;markers=color%3ared%7clabel%3a7%7c51.0 7708%2c-4.05457&amp;markers=color%3ared%7clabel%3a8%7c51.0 9134%2c-4.05426&amp;markers=color%3ared%7clabel%3a9%7c51.2 2922%2c-3.83726&amp;markers=icon%3ahttp%3a%2f%2fbar.forwar dslashmobile.co.uk%2fImages%2f10.png%7c51.07332%2c-4.04777" id="SearchResults_GoogleMap1_ImageGoogleMap" width="299" height="199" />

I believe the URL is correctly encoded and validates correctly via the W3 validator. The image displays correctly on all desktop browsers I've tried and also iPhone, Android and Symbian phones. The BlackBerry seems to be the only phone that doesn't play ball.

Not all BlackBerry handsets are affected i.e. the problem cannot be reproduced on the Bold 9000 however the Bold 9700 shows a red X on almost every map it tries to render.

Does anyone know why this is happening or if there is a workaround?

Default Update

It looks like this problem only occurs when using BIS, when using WIFI all the maps are displayed correctly.

When I click Full Image I receive a message "HTTP Error 403: Forbidden" - when I select Details the Google over usage allowance icon is displayed.

Any help would be appreciated.
