Default My 8310 Freezes while on phone calls?

I was on a lengthy phone call the other day on my ATT 8310. I wanted to unmute the phone, but I discovered that all of the buttons ceased to work. I could not even terminate the call. I had to pull the battery to restore the buttons.

This happened twice to me. I have had the phone 18 months and this just started. Any ideas? Thanks!

What OS is on the device? You may want to consider upgrading your OS to see if that corrects your issue.

But you've experienced this issue twice with that OS, correct?

Have you added any new apps or themes since this issue started? dropped the device? Got it wet? etc. If the issue just started, what happened right before you started noticing it?
