Has anybody tried this software?
txtForward: Automatically Forward SMS text messages from BlackBerry to email

"txtForward automatically forwards SMS text messages received on your BlackBerry to any email address you supply. Using txtForward to send your incoming text messages to email can be useful in a number of different ways... "

well, i dont get charged per-sms, but yes, the messages are still received like regular sms's...
the software (very silently) just forwards the txt to an email address that you specify...

they originally werent offering a trial, but i convinced them to.

...still trialing ;) ...

i cant seem to enter my email for the text to forward to. anyone else had this problem? also when it forwards the text, does it uses data or it counts as a send text

It's not happy on my 8700, and bails with this: Error starting txtForward: Class 'javax.microedition.io.file.FileConnection' not found.

I have this installed and I love it. I was wondering if there's a way I can also do this for MMS messages sent and received.

I just sent them an email to find out if they are planning anything to support MMS forwarding.

I am wondering the same thing - I recently shut off data to my personal blackberry because my company has supplied one free of charge. I'd like to be able to forward the texts from my personal phone to my business phone rather than having to carry 2 devices. I'm worried that txtforward uses data to forward these SMSs.

For $8?!?!? To accomplish the same thing for free, just select all, copy and paste it into an email...

The point is not to have to actually touch the device. I can leave it at home and all the texts I receive would automatically be forwarded to my other phone in real time.

Has anyone gotten this to work on the 9000 (Bold). I have installed the application on two Bolds and although I receive no error, the progrma does not forward SMS.
