+1, I just noticed this today. Just talked to a buddy, an hour later same caller id, I say "Hey bro", and its my wife on the line... lol, but not cool!
-on Rogers, 9700, was using my bluetooth jawbone prime headset when this happened.

the best bb and excellent OS as of today.
Working great, exceptional battery life, no bugs at all and all 3rd party apps works perfectly.
Loving every moment of it.

I have the same issue - definitely an OS bug...never had it before .423.

Just found an option in the clock bedside mode to
"dismiss clock automatically"
Was it there before?
Anyway, what's is supposed to do, anyone know? Seems to have no effect...

It dismisses the clock when you remove the charger.

Which of the .423 sources did you use? Vodaphone NL, DE, Spain, or the East Asia lead one on this thread, Bell Mobility?

If I delete the 'voicenotes' folder on the card, the recorder works fine and voicenotes are stored in the root of the Blackberry folder on the card. If the device even gets rebooted, it puts the 'voicenotes' folder back on the card and the problem returns, to the point were I get an uncaught exception often whilst trying to exit a recording being made. I reformatted the card yesterday, by the way. Didn't help.
Sadly I can't find a setting to force the recorder to store to internal memory, which would be an ok work-around if it worked.
Anyone got a similiar set up and can try and reproduce the problem?

i am recording to the MicoSD and seems to work fine. Used the video recorder last night and move the file to the PC today and love the resolution and sound quality. Same as my cannon camera.

Is anyone having the issue with contact alerts with this update? SMS alerts convert back to the default profile for SMS. I was not having this issue until I upgrade to this release. I don't think there is a fix (searched), but just wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem with this release.

Hello all,
Both of my Bolds (9000 Bold & 9700 Bold2) I can't seem to update the Operating Systems. I have tried using Desktop Manager & Loader.exe in the folder where I have deleted the vendor.xml file.
I keep getting an error message saying that my device is not compatible with the version when I try to 'force' the o/s to be installed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What logo? The splash screen that appears when rebooting your phone? You can't.
