They aren't adding BT printing in OS 4.5, are they? I would love to have that, but it's not worth $50 a year to Beamberry for me, esp. since Docs to Go is coming in 4.5.

ok. Thank you. Beamberry will work for attachments but is there anyway to print the contents of a regular email that does not contain an email?

I have given up on BeamBerry. After a year of trying to get this application to print on the adapter and printer they reccommend I have decided that it is not worth the effort. I was told by their tech support after purchasing the adapter and not being able to get it to work that it was a "known problem" and they were working on it. Months later they issued the latest version and started charging for it. I downloaded the trial and went through the same proceedures. I got closer but it still didn't work. Tech support has stopped responding to me and I can only assume they can't fix it.
Has anybody out there been able to print with this application?

I've used BeamBerry to print to printers using a bluetooth dongle plugged into an HP printer (can't remember the model#). It's worked fine for me. What type of adapter and printer is it? However, if it's a known issue with their product, I'm not sure there's much we can do.

With OS 4.3 you can print photos on the BB w/out any additional SW to BT printers...not much, but it's somethin'.

They print out centered on 8 1/2 x 11...can't remember the size, but I believe it was a little larger than 4x6. I posted a thread on this on this board some weeks ago.

Planon has a new battery-portable Bluetooth printer called PrintStik that can (I tested it) let a BB print to it - within limits.

The printer works fine with a notebook PC for just about any kind of page. Its BB applications for now only let you print text from messages, no HTML.

And like Henry Ford, the only color on the page is black (it's a thermal mechanism - never needs ink - but the special paper costs just enough to not feel like what-the-heck free).
