HELLLLPPPP!!!!! I updated my 8520 and now the keypad lock has changed from (*) and green to unlock to the mute button, i have read bb have combined button in the latest update. But i like the old way and want to get back to it please please can somebody help me get back to older version and please tell in plain english and i know im not only one who has this problem.

You need to downgrade your software. There's no way to get it back once you update unless u go back

This is how I did mine...

Go Here: BlackBerry - BlackBerry Desktop and Device Software Download Sites

Select your region and carrier. Then select your phone and then all available versions will be shown. Download and run the executable of your choice. .459 is 8530AMEA_PBr5.0.0_rel756_PL4.2.0.201_A5.0.0.459_Sp rint_L.P


Then open Desktop Manager and go to the Update screen. Follow the prompts and warnings and you'll see the option(s) to downgrade. I had no issues at all doing this on my 8530.

There are other ways as well.

i have downloaded the lower version opened dm and have clicked on add apps get the list of stuff and it says downgrade great i click start backs up stuff the start to load stuff then i get fatal error any ideas anybody?
