I have some suggestions on the Prefs feature. Please let me know if there's a better way to post or if I'm being too picky. (1) Allow the removal of some of the preset Menu items; (2) If #1 is done, allow more than 1 user selected feature to be added that stick across screens: (3) The WAP setting won't change for me even though I've tried several times: (4) WiForum - Only Default Theme is available: (5) From Truncation down to Search only the number of results is provided to change. Can additional options be made available? (6) On the same item in #5, if the max is exceeded in the request then only a blank screen is provided. Can a notification that the value entered is too high be provided instead? & (7) In the SMS Address, a hint of whether a 10 digit phone # or an email address is needed would be helpful.

Any feedback is welcomed.

Keep is mind the wap site is very limited in the customization that is possible

My only wish for the Wiforum engine would be that it respect the message read flags. I hate that it marks all messages in all threads in all forums as read as soon as I log in to it.

I manage a vBul board as well, and I've been in touch with WiForums about this issue (it's a deal breaker for me). I got this reply:

"I finally had some time to look into the issue by further examining the vB database schema, and the issue that you brought to my attention is present when database thread read marking is being used, and is due to WiForums not updating the "threadread" table.

I will look into correcting this issue in an upcoming update."

I've asked them to let me know when they issue that update, and I'll pass on any info I get from them.

i also notice (totally off topic here) that i dont get a text for PM's anymore i have changed my number i the thing a few times, erased it , etc, and still to text. any ideas?

Were do I find a description of those limitations? I don't have the time, patience, or inclination to become a web designer in order to understand this topic. If the subject is written for some who is of reasonable intelligence and not more than 50 pages long I will be fine.

I didn't see a sticky with these limits at the top of the group and the title invites comments on what the users would like to see changed. That seems to imply that either it would be communicated what could be changed or almost anything could be changed. Your response tells me that I was wrong on both counts. Please let me know where to go next with this or if it would be best for me to focus on other areas of BBF since I have lots of suggestions.
