Default what happened to blackberry messenger?

It's such a great program but no one uses it anymore? My javelin didn't even come with it loaded on :(

I use it everyday and i love it! It's a great way to communicate with people. It's fast, easy and if they're overseas, it's economical.

did you check all the folders in your menu?

i thought my 8350i didnt come with it either but i ended up finding it in the "Instant Message" folder or something.

I agree its a great app, hope you find it.

Mine came with it loaded on, I believe it was hiding in the applications folder.

Or install the OS on your computer and run the App loader check the check box for BlackBerry Messenger.

You should just double check the Options -> Advanced Options -> Appliations... Not that I don't trust you I just find it hard to beleive BBM is not in their by default.

It's on mine. It's in a folder titled something like "messaging". Not completely sure because I just hid it. I have no need for it.

I have a Rogers Javelin...

They hide it in the "Instant Messaging" folder, along with Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk and Yahoo! Messenger

You can also download it from here:

Just have your phone plugged in when you go to the site and it will detect the correct version for your phone.

I found it in the instant messaging folder...

I don't understand why people don't use this program...

also my roommate and his girlfriend both have curves and they can't even get the program to work on their att network :boggled:

I made an error in my post. WLM is the only IM app that cannot be downloaded from that site.
