Default *HELP* DISPLAY ISSUE + BACK UP on 9300

Please Login to Remove!

I've recently moved to 9300 and facing some odd display + back up issues

1. When I make calls call display screen suddenly flips and top 1/4 of the screen come down to bottom of the rest of 3/4 which doesn't affect overall performance of the phone but its very. very. annoying.

2. It is first time using desktop manager 6 and it just won't back up my blackberry. It is keep saying there was an error

I looked it up on this forum and over the internet but there is no solution described.

Re #2, is DM seemingly throwing an error when backing up a particular database? What exactly is the error message?

If you are getting an error on a particular database, it's possible the database is corrupted. Clearing the database would be the solution. Then re-sync, or selectively restore that database from an older backup, or restore it manually.

If it is some problem you can't nail down, maybe a clean uninstall and then re-install may be the answer. Someone posted a link to the KB article yesterday and you should be able to find it if you need it.

I've managed to back it up on device manager 5 and updated OS to 5.0.0.977

Haven't yet tried device manager 6 yet as it was time for me to hit the traffic. Thanks for the heads up I might have to spend another night :(
