Smile Finally! Blackberry Modem Applicaton - Need Beta Testers

We’re looking for Beta testers to test a BlackBerry Application. This is a new application that effectively allows users to utilize their device as a modem.

To participate in the Beta test, your device needs to run OS v3.8 and above. We need users from different carriers. We prefer testers who having working TCP settings for testing socket connections. If you’d like to take part, please email us at: [email address]

P.S Gmail Account users please submit alternate email address. Gmail doesn't allow zip attachments. = Thanks! Don't worry we're not sending viruses, adware or spyware.. we to serve to protect not to destory.. we're just honest hearted developers.

Not to sound like a noob, but I already use my 7100t as a modem for my laptop. So is this software for the BB's without modem support, or can this software benefit me as well? If so, email sent.

I don't mean to be a killjoy or an alarmist, and I'm sure the folks at sharkmodem are on the up and up, but does anyone know anything about them?

Do you think it's a good idea to just install an app on a BlackBerry (especially one that is communicating directly with your PC) without any idea what it might actually be doing?

it works on my NEXTEL 7520!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't think this was possible.....but they got the modem to work with a computer.
