Default Issue with 4.7.0.83

Please Login to Remove!

I've been using it for about a week now, but I've had two pull the battery three times now because the backlight won't time out. The screen is constantly on and there's no way to get the screen to go dark. Has anyone else seen this issue with 83?

I'm going to upgrade to 85 today, but I'm just wondering if anyone had a similar experience.

I had the same issue and the system will not turn off when I hold down the END/POWER button

I upgraded to .85 last night and my phone just rebooted as I type... it ALSO has similar bug issues to .83

I am going back to .75 tonight :(

Hmmmm.... I also had this problem. I thought it was related to the Accuweather Web Channel so I removed that app...

I did a memory wipe last week and got rid of all other 3rd party apps (except accuweather) and thought that was the issue... since yesterday it's been ok (where it wasn't going more than about 12 hours without acting up.

I also noticed the Application switcher stops working when the backlight timer doesn't kick in...

Oddly enough, it even ran my battery down while in the holster w/ the backlight off... so it has to be locked up communicating w/ something (which was why I thought it was accuweather).

Works perfectly for me. The only issue I had was the phone froze up on the NON mobile version of fandango.com.

Links to it can't be provided here. It's quite findable on Google.
