Default Noob- Change 8700g sig. without using carrier site?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone, just picked up my first 8700g (and first PDA!) yesterday from T-MO. I absolutely love it!

I have a question about changing the e-mail signature:
When I goto the tmobile site, it didn't register the BlackBerry as my new phone yet (since I got it yesterday).

How do I change the sig. from my BlackBerry? I'm dying to do it.

I've parused the forums on this topic, but find no option on my phone anywhere involving the words Autosig. or anything of the such?

You'll have to do it from the BIS page.

Create an autotext for your various signatures. I use zz and zx for my two signatures. Btw, Options . . . Autotext. You should get it from there.

I used autotext entries called "sig10", "sig20", and "sig30". Snowkier's is shorter, but I'd never remember those.

I also have several "reply22" (etc) entries where the number varies and is a pnenomic device. They're sort of my automatic replies. It keeps me from typing the same formal, generic replies over and over. It let's me reply quicker.

It's nothing new. It's just a glorified text macro.
