Posting of links to beta software from sites other than RIM or carriers is not allowed here.

This isn't a beta release. This is an official carrier release.

Datacentre, you're posting this as if it were an official OS?

Why doesn't your post state which carrier released it and link to the official download?

I just got the post from CrackBerry's site...and saw that it wasn't posted here, so decided to share. RS was the only download link.

Doesn't East Asia mean the carrier?

EastAsia is the carrier...but don't know how to confirm.

CrackBerry is pretty strict on posting betas as well, so if it wasn't really released, I'm sure it would have been deleted by now.

EastAsia is not the carrier. This is not an Official Release as of 6:11pm EST. It's a leaked version of 4.6. CB as well as BBN posts links to them when they pop up.

I tried to load, after deleting Visual Voicemail via CrackMem, with my newly updated 5.0 DTM...and it wouldn't let me load.

So, I used the app loader within the OS and everything worked perfectly!!

After a post-update batter pull...here is my short take:

-Faster and smoother (but that's almost always the case with a new OS load)
-Thumbnail pictures load quicker
-Can't tell any real difference between .266 and .247 so far...but maybe that will change...

So anyone have any negative feedback?
