Default To do list software?

Please Login to Remove!

My wife wants a better ToDo list application than the Tasks Manager on her BB 7100t. Apparently she wants one that she can make a list of things... like her grocery list

1-lettuce
2-butter
3-yogurt
4-bread
5-pick up kid at gym

you get the idea... so she can simply type the TODO item, then mark it done.

In Tasks Manager, she says its too complicated to create one each for multiple items.

Any ideas, or am I missing something obvious we already have?

Thanks lots!

I've used the default task manager in the BB, todoMatrix, ideaMatrix and PocketDay Lists. If the task manager isn't doing it, probably the next best program is PocketDay Lists.

I use todoMatrix on a daily basis and it is a really nice program, but overkill for just making a list. Additionally, the field lenght is fixed at 256 characters for a item description, so it may not be enough to actually create a list. You may want to look at ideaMatrix but again, PocketDay List is probably the best choice for a list application.

I like TaskPad Pro.

TaskPad Pro is very straight forward and easy to use. You can enter and edit your items from your Blackberry or any PC with a web browser.

Thanks all. I use Memo Pad pretty much, but she was wanting something a little different. We'll try a few of these and see what floats her boat.

Thanks again the great response and offerings.

JSanders,

The two programs I mentioned, Shopper and Odysseus would suit your wife just fine, with the latter being the better of the two. They're both small AND FREE. Odysseus has more versatility to it, because you can make all sorts of lists, whereas Shopper is more of a grocery list manager. Both of them allow you to just check the box, and the item will be marked as bought or done.

Earlier in this thread, I said that I used and liked TaskPad Pro from MobilePro. I also used MemoPad Pro from the same developer.

However, both of these applications have stopped synching for me. I have emailed MobilePro tech support twice, but have not received a reply.

Now, when I go to the support section of MobilePro website, I see that they have stopped supporting Verizon and Sprint Blackberries.

Not Supported

Bell Mobility (CA), Verizon, Sprint, Telus (Blackberry 7750)
Needless to say that I am very disappointed!

So, I am back in the market for ToDo list software.

I really like the look and feel of ToDo Matrix, but the desktop/web client is not yet available.

You could probably set up Berry 411 with some nice plugins for Amazon and the like.
