Default Switching to a new sim card?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm having some general problems with my 8320 which I think can be attributed to the fact that I'm using the same sim card I've had since the black and white Sidekick 1. I want to switch over to the sim card that came with my 8320. Is there anything special I need to do to make sure everything works properly and the phone "recognizes" me once I switch over? Thanks!

Just go to the store have them issue the new SIM card and you should be good to go. You won't have to d anything else.

Yep, that. I had to get a new SIM card for my 8310 as my old one was at least 5 years old. They transferred all my contacts onto the new SIM card at my AT&T store and gave me the old SIM back for a spare just in case.

So even though I have a brand new sim card in the box the 8320 came in, I should still go to the store and have them do it? That's no problem, I just want to make sure. Thanks.

In that case just call customer care and tell them you want to swap the SIM they will do it over the phone. Sorry didn't realize you had the new one.
