No problems whatsoever. Thought I'd start a thread so that internet cruisers know that these phones aren't totally bogged down with problems, as a glance at the topic list would suggest. Of course I have nothing against posting problems/questions - just want to mix in a positive one.

I think we have a thread about this already.

but yes, that is the thing with these forums, you'll get tons of people with problems, but on the other end there are many more people who couldn't be happier.

I'm lovin' mine. I got my 8300 way back when the 8320 was just a gleam in t-Mobile's eye. It's a Rogers unit, unlocked by gsmphonesource.com. The operating system I first used was the one from O2. Back then, the only way to get the Blackberry browser on T-Mobile with the unsupported Curve was to use that OS. You had to jump through hoops to use one with T-Mobile back then. Sheesh, I feel like my grandfather telling me how tough it was back in his time. "I remember we had to walk 2 miles to school, in rain, snow, or 105 degree heat. With no shoes. Uphill both ways."

I loved my original 8300s despite their flaws. LOL. First one from launch week rebooted during calls then I had a refurb for six months. It had two issues: calendar notifications never worked no matter what I did and the right rail got a bit loose. Still, I loved the hell out of the refurb, it did everything else I wanted it to do and served me well.

I had the opportunity to pick up a crimson 8310 and jumped on it. I daresay that it is just about as close to being perfect as a phone is going to get. It's solid, the GPS works brilliantly (much better than the BJ 2 that I had), the calendar notifications work and of course it brings me my e-mail reliably, never locks up or crashes. Not a bad phone, either.

Yep, I'm rocking a refurb as well after I returned my original due to cosmetic damages during my summer in the middle east. Gotta love warranty exchange!

can I post in this thread since I'm not having any more UMA issues? I love my curve. I was resistant to it at first (sent it back on three different occasions) but I couldn't be happier with my phone.

8320 checking in here. "Perfect" might be a strong word to use. I've had minimal difficulties with my 8320 and am very pleased with its performance. Frankly, you'd have to pry it out of my cold dead fingers to get it from me.

I had a pearl for about 3 weeks then decided I wanted the true qwerty keyboard and the A2DP stereo bluetooth capability and got the Crimson 8310. I love this phone and the GPS is just icing on the cake for me.

I say this with nothing but love in my heart....

But I DESPISE each and every one of you.

Just got my THIRD 8320 tonight after multiple reboots per day, UMA spotty and a host of other nits that drove me crazy. I hang onto it for corporate email use, but the rest of the device may as well be turned off for me.

I get home, let it charge, get it working with my router (Tmo supplied router), call my iPhone to test UMA...and the THIRD Curve reboots 14 minutes into the call.

I can't get the danged thing to keep from rebooting during calls.

From what I hear it's a GREAT phone for everyone else. Then again, I can't wear watches either.

Other than the MMS issues I had early on (which I found a workaround for), I am totally loving my Curve. It works great. Best phone I've ever owned.

I really wanted to upgrade my Curve to the 8320 for that UMA/WiFi goodness, but it's working so perfectly for me I don't want to mess with it at all! If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I had some issues with dust on my first one, but AT&T exchanged it with no hassle. Other than that..flawless.

I'm still amazed how much I use this phone: texting, taking and sending pics, best email in the biz, reviewing power point presentations, listening to music and podcasts, phone, surfing, appointments, alarm clock, all my contacts, IM and pin messaging, videos, quick directions, and the list goes on. Wow. Loving my Curve!! I'm looking forward to seeing Rim beat the 83xx model!

Had mine for months and it has been, essentially, perfect. Best mobile device I have owned.

I have my Curve about a month now, and it works great! A was a long time Windows Mobile user, but the devices and the OS are crappy, unusable and u have to care about it like the desktop version of windows ;) The Blackberry is easy to use, great handling and the device itself is small and lightweigt.
The only thing i hate it for is that the modem is not working with linux/pppd.

I've had some minor issues, but all in all, the best device I've ever had.
Actually, the only reason I'm admitting this is I wanted to get on Runamuck's "despise" list.

There are things I don't necessarily *like* about my Curve, but everything seems to be working they way it's supposed to. Any "problems" are mine, not the Curve's.
