Default 8300 gps questions

Searched the fourm a little, didnt find what I'm looking for.

Ok as I understand it for GPS on the 8300 I'll need a bluetooth gps antena and Telenav. Am I correct on this?

How much does Telanav charge a month after the free trial? Does AT&T have any hidden charges?

Yes on the 8300, you need a GPS puck. TeleNav is like $10 a month. Or yo could always download Google Maps for free.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Telenav will offer voice directions, while Google Maps will not. However, you can't beat that free price.

I started out with the free maps and now I am using the Telenav system and never looking back. Telenav is worth the 9.99 you pay for it by far. Just cut your $tarbucks intake to 2 days a week insted of 5 and then you can get the Telenav. My 2 cents..

If you travel often, it's def. worth the Telenav. But if you will hardly ever use the feature, the Google Maps is perfect - and free. I had a situation just this Saturday where I wasn't sure if I was at the right road or not, but looking at that little blue blip on the screen I could see I hadn't traveled far enough down the road. I went down a little further and sure enough the road was there. Time was of the essence and without the handy dandy GPS receiver, I would've definitely made the wrong turn. Who knows when I would've seen the next road sign (it was out in the sticks of South Jersey) to find out I had turned onto the wrong road. I love it!
