Default AT&T MEdia Max 19.99 plan on a Blackberry?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm getting a Blackberry from a friend who just upgraded. I have a MEdia Max 19.99 plan now on my Razor. Can I get by using this on a Blackberry? I'm just going to use the MEdia net brower on it for yahoo mail and download Opera for everything else, I'm not interested in the push/blackberry email stuff.

Can this Work?

Thanks

I have heard of people getting it to work. A BB plan is only 10 bucks more.

I have a friend who has this set up and it is working for him. He had the MediaMax +200 text package. He just slid his SIM in, made the adjustments in the TCP settings for opera, and it seems to work OK. He also got Gmail to work also. Sometimes he can get MMS messages to send, sometimes not. He does not use the push email, just voice, SMS and a rare MMS. Mostly he wanted a QWERTY phone that was small that had calender, etc. He has been quite happy with his Curve.

keep a close eye on your bill though as you don't want to end up with unexpected data charges.

Which is why when I got my Curve, I got the unlimited data plan with 1500 messages. Though if I keep up texting like a mad woman, I may have to up to the unlimited messages when I can afford it.
