Thats too f***ing expensive to be honest...

Anyone knows a site from Europa/Germany who sells the seidio battery?
40$ shipping cost is too much for something like this...

I meant does the Blackberry have any issues detecting that extra 15%?

atmodude, we told you... get the password wrong 10 times on the device... and it will wipe it and then you can reload the OS... or use JL_cmder to delete everything on the device and start from the beginning...

what you are saying doesnt make sense... there is no way for a the DM to prompt for a password when you dont have to enter one on the device itself... that is not possible... so either you have a password on the device or you dont...

Has anyone that has previously been on the OS 4.6.1.101 noticed any battery life improvements subsequent to migrations to the OS 4.6.1.114? I haven't decided whether to upgrade my OS seen as my battery life seems pretty stable at the moment with the stock OS (.101).

Depending on how it goes, I might have to employ the olde saying "If it ain't broke..."

Default 8900 Latest Device Software HELP PLS

I down loaded and installed the new device software. Everything worked fine but noticed that I could not access my maps function. I am with Rogers in Canada.

So I decided to load an older version from Rogers, (platform 4.2.0.69 vs the venezuela one 4.2.0.76). Software on loading provided that this would be reversal which I agreed to. No indication that this might be an issue. A reset error popped up on the 8900 saying reset. I have tried that a number of times and nothing is working. Suggestions on how I can get back to the old platform or even the new one?

I get a "App Error 200" Reset message on the BB after the desktop installer trys to connect.

Now when I turn on the BB I just keep getting the above message, i.e. after I remove the battery and reinstall to reset.

Have I toasted the unit?

Thx

I am getting a connecting to device and a red screen on the JL program. It just seems to be sitting idle. The BB screen showns a battery image with a line thru it and nothing else.

when asked if I have a password I reply "Y" and type it in but it does not appear monentarily on the screen of the BB as note on the JL program?

I tried the alternative approach but can seem to figure out how to get to the C:\ prompt line. It opens in ...\my documents

Yes, you will have to set a new activation password. Encryption will be lost upon upgrade of OS.

You're right. They took the 8900 from the Venezuela Page, and I have no idea why.
