As per the title really.
Have just bought a mint used 8800 locked to O2, and am using it at the mo with a pay and go O2 sim.
I've activated the sound off profile, but still get a chime when I send the text message as i get a credit notification.

How do i stop this as I need the phone completely silent.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Profiles , silent but BBM may not respect the profile

I've done that (with the speaker icon as off) but I still get that chime as the credit notification comes through :(

Then the carrier is overriding the option. nothing you can do.
