Hi,

My wife has just got an second hand Blackberry 7100, and the OS is damaged, it does not start. Is there a way to reinstall the OS, and what version will run on it.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Which version of the 7100 does she have?

Look at the yellow stickies at the top of the Legacy section. We have an OS and instructions for the 7130, OS 4.2 I think. The instructions will be the same for any OS, but you need an OS for your specific model.

If you have a different version of the 7100, then try the RIM website to see what you can find. The 7100 series is pretty old as far as cell phones and BBs are concerned.
