is it possible to have a different ringer for voicemail and SMS?
it uses the same ringer, but i like to be able to distinguish the two with a different ringer.. possible?

Yes....In profiles set them each to DIFFERENT ringers.

actually, unless the 7100i's OS is different than every other OS, it uses the same profile and there's no way of differentiating between the two.
