Question Does unlocking affect warranty?

Please Login to Remove!

Do any of you know if unlocking the Storm 2 voids your warranty with Verizon and/or RIM?

Thanks!

Thanks! But what about the Verizon extended coverage-blah-blah where you can exchange the phone if it malfunctions?

Thanks for your help!

Since Verizon will unlock the Storm for you as long as you have been a customer in good standing for at least 60 days, I can't see why unlocking will void the warrantee

It will not. The only thing unlocking does is allow you to use it on any GSM carrier.
Nothing about unlocking the phone is a hack or anything like that. It is nothing like jailbreaking an Iphone.
