Don't count out the 8900 Javelin. That is a very nice device. Also, the 8220 Pearl Flip. T-Mobile has some nice devices out and on the way.

Wirelessly posted (8100 Strike 2)

I like the 8900 over the bold.

The storm (CDMA device) cannot be used on T-Mobile (GSM provider)... the Bold (GSM device), when unlocked, can be used there...

facts is facts.

Except that there is a version of the Storm outside of the US that is GSM only and WILL work on GSM carriers here.

yes you do need to say more, the bold's only advantage is the faster processor, where there was virtually no differance in a side by side test, the slightly bigger processor is needed for the 3g network that will only be available in certain areas, why not mention that the 8900 has a better screen resalution, 3.2 pix cam, and a better feel for those switching from a curve, virtually the same size as the curve, what the heck there saying it is a curve on steriods, I am waiting for the 8900 and good luck w your bold that has had issues with every carrier that has released it.

Wirelessly posted (T-Mobile BB 8320 OS 4.5.0.81)

Storm is hybrid GSM/CDMA. So even the verizon one should work on T-Mobile. Unless they block the gsm slot, not that vzw would ever block an important feature of a BB *ahem* 8330 GPS *ahem*

This is why I am glad to see T-Mobile invading the North Carolina market.

I forgot to mention that the 8900 internal memory is 256 vs 126 of the bold's.
those numbers might be slightly off but i do know it is almost doubled on the 8900 vs Bold

Tmo has been good to me over the years, better than ATT and Verizon, will wait for Tmo's releases but in the mean time will use unlocked devices from other carriers.
