Whenever I try to convert my .avi movies to .mp4 through DM, it takes a long time to see any progress. Then after a while, it just freezes and gives me an error...

My Bold's OS is 4.6.0.162
Is there a new version of DM??? Mine is 4.6 as of right now..

Those are the most recent releases of both.
Are you using Media Manager?

What is the error message? I've noticed some video's can take longer then other's.. Do you have any other Roxio software installed on your computer?

I have learned a valuable, and useful lesson since I've been in these boards.
Stop using the DM, and just drag & drop your files. I was having multiple problems like yours when I used the DM, but since I stopped using it, they have all but disappeared.
If you want a good AND free program for converting video, try "Any Video Converter". I got it a couple years ago from CNET, and it has not failed me yet.

When I'm converting the file, it moves ridiculously slow. Then after a long wait, the bar doesn't move and gives me

"One or more of the files could not be transfered:"

Its not even specific...It's a general message that gives me no hint of what I can do to possibly fix the problem. My Roxio is version 9, I'm not sure if its the Roxio or not, I've reinstalled it twice.
