Default Low battery - lost signal?

Please Login to Remove!

Ive recently bought a BB Curve 9320 after having Nokia's for years.
I have noticed that when the battery runs low I lose the signal...
Is this normal?
Cheers...

Yes. The radio shuts off by design.

Don't let the battery run down below 20% on a regular basis. That can damage the batter and force you to get a replacement.

Keep it topped up when you are near a power source. Works better that way. Running it past 20% on a regular basis can damage the battery.

That's not uncommon. Smartphones don't hold a charge like a basic cell phone. A lot of it has to do with how you use it, but you'd be very lucky if it held a charge more than a day.

No. If you wish to purchase a backup battery, choose one from a reliable brand such as Mophie.

I always recommend an OEM replacement, not a cheap eBay knock off. You want something made specifically for your device.

Unfortunately, BlackBerry doesn't make a charging pack like the one the OP posted, but Mophie is very reliable.
