I'm trying to find a utility and/or option that will change the Blackberry into silent mode when a meeting is scheduled. We are currently using BES to synch inbox, contacts, calendar, etc. Is there a way or a utility that will do this?

You can change your BB to silent or vibrate with the standard option with the device. Are you asking for it to change automatically based on times of events in your calendar?

Yeah, looking for it to it automatically so that if people forget it won't interrupt the meeting.

Look at Notifire for something that has time settings for notices. I have not tried it yet. On my list.

Notifire has time settings but it can't automatically change the profile setting based on device state (i.e. in a meeting - based on a calendar event).

That seems like a nice feature - I will add it to the list.

this would be an amazing app to have, would come in lots of handy for when im in class and at work. i wonder if anyone will ever bring anything like this out.

Agreed! I had to evaluate some WM5 units and it's one of the most important things I miss with my 8800.
