Default Re: AT&T Blackberry - Any way to drop the data plan?

It is NOT absurd to use a blackberry without data... I got my blackberry when they first came out and did not force you to buy a monthly data plan, it was just pay as you use... which is on option they should still allow. I bought it to use my medical software that only palm, blackberry, and iphone have accessibility. This software does not require internet connection. I love my blackberry for that function, along with the ease of use. It is pure GREED, that at&t & verizon now make customers pay another monthly fee just to use a device, regardless if they NEED or WANT that service. T mobile i believe may be the only carrier left that does not force you to pay additional fees for smarphones.
