hey guys... i did some searching and couldn't really come up with anything. my friend has an 8310, and it's doing this weird thing where it announces "you now have cell coverage" even if it's in a silent profile? someone asked the same question on the AT&T forums, and they said it may be due to the AT&T navigator/telenav service? i had my friend try turning off voice prompts to see if that helps. any thoughts?

I agree about the navigator program. It sounds like it's running in the background. Normally a BB does not provide audible spoken in/out of coverage alerts. Have your friend go into the navigator and close it properly.
