1) is blackberry 8830 is different from blackberry 8830 world edition"
i have a verizon BB 8830 (does not say world edition also does not know where to look for if it is world edition??!!).

i took out the battery and i see a sd card slot above the batter compartment also i see a sim card slot adjacent to it but i can see a pard of metal/silver plate in the place where i insert the sim. Does it mean it will not accept sim/not a GSM world phone. or should i insert the sim above to this metal/silver plate?

please assist. Thanks in advance
