Default 8310 "Help me turn this into a desktop clock"

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone.

I have a couple 8310's I got free and since I have a 9300 now I really want to do something with the 8310s.

so I was sitting around one day and what better way to use a little device then to turn it into a clock!

The idea is basically to wire up either the battery terminals or attach directly to the usb terminals on the back of the blackberry so its hidden and load up some software on it.As it stands now I found BBLight. So far it seems to work, the screen dims then kicks back onto full brightness, I really just want the thing to stay on indefinitely and then some.

Could someone recommend some free alarm clock software with a nice big full screen clock and a method of keeping the screen on without flickering.

Also if there's something creative that can be done with bluetooth and perhaps paired to a pc from across the room that would also be kinda slick.

Thanks a lot!

Yes, when I do that, I notice it fades every couple seconds then springs back to life... it doesn't just stay on solid.

can you recommend which settings I need to enable to keep it lit how i need it?
