The replacement device has been perfect. No double-type.

And yes, this build fixes the SMS issue I mentioned above. That was annoying!

This FW runs now since >12HRs on my BB. So far nothing was worse then with the previous version.

None of my apps can connect using the wireless radio with this build. Wi-Fi works. I can surf the web and get email though. This is on a 9700.
