problem with SMS autoText

Hi all! I'm new to this forum and new to BB's infact, had my 9700 for just over a month now. Its been fine until now but yesterday the autoText on SMS stopped working and its really irritating having to manually enter apostrophe's etc! Lol. Anyone know how I can rectify this? It works fine on everything else- emails, bbm etc...
