That poor little girl. One of the lines of thought is that she drowned and then her mother took the body and left it out in the woods so she wouldn't be held responsible. Who knows what happened. And it will probably never be known.

i hate the story and Nancy Grace for making us all suffer it every night. There is something fishy about the whole thing. I personally think the grandparents know more than they are leading us to believe they know.
The whole family is a little odd, and seem like pathological liars. The grandmother got caught in tons of outright lies when they started the public search for the baby. I don't think the grandparents were involved in the crime. But they're in denial or something about their daughter being involved. They've tried to cover for her even though they clearly originally believed she was guilty.
This is brutal, and as sick as this individual is, how could someone possibly offer her money for this story? To commit an alleged act like this is unspeakable, but paying for the story seems even worse.
