OK, so I made a mistake in getting involved! Nevertheless, now I am, and I have almost 100 followers and I'm also following about 100 TWEETEES. My question is, who do I get so few TWEETS on my device, and why also from the same few TWEETEES? Help?

I suspect however you are doing it, you are looking at your feed . . . tweets by people you have selected to follow. The frequency of new tweets depends on how frequently they tweet. That is likely the answer to your question. You should see that you can also view the public timeline, which is everybody.

As far as people following you, who knows why they chose to follow you. Some follow you back when you select to follow them. Some may have found you through a keyword search. Some may have followed you because they saw you following someone else. Some spammers start with a letter of the alphabet and just go through following everyone -- Watch for someone that follows you and they have 0 or 1 tweet, they are following hundreds of people, and their followers number in single digits.

Well, if you are using an application to get twitter, you would have had to download it...
twitterberry, ubertwitter etc...
If you did that, im surprised you've forgotten what it is you downloaded.

Maybe that's the answer! I haven't d/l'd any application, the tweets that I've received have been via SMS. Correct?

Only you know that. You can, if you choose, tweet using sms, and receive tweets via sms. As alreay stated, you can also use a web browser or one of a number of applications.

"Receive texts for DMs and the tweets from users you want to be notified about."

Hence why you are only getting them from SOME people and not ALL people.
I suggest you go onto twitter and look at your settings.

download ubertwitter or blackberries official client (though i recommend ubertwitter for stability issues) and use that. It works far better then that sms nonsense. and less messy.
