Default move the BESAdmin

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

we want to move the BESAdmin service account from one storage group to another (BES 4.0, latest SP, E2k3 SP2). Is this a problem?
I know that moving simple BB users needs restarting BB services, so I am expecting the worst for doing the same with BESAdmin...

Best,
Tim

Staying on the same server just going from one SG to another should not be a problem at all. I don't know why you have to restart services when you move users. We have just gone through a complete migration of all our users from older exchange servers to a newer cluster, all running E2K3 SP2, and never had to restart BB services.
That being said, you can always run the handheldcleanup.exe utility after you move the besadmin account just to be sure the BES sees the move.
