Default STORM Upgrade and BES

Please Login to Remove!

I am currently using a Curve on my company's BES. Does the Storm have any specific requirements for BES support, or can I just purchase and perform an enterprise activation.

Thanks,

np

Just purchase and perform enterprise activation...no problem!

you may want to do the latest software upgrade before you active on BES or you will just have to activate again...

Thanks. Is the sw update available through Verizon or is it from another carrier?

Might want to be sure your company will allow you to add that device and that they will support it. Also, if this will be a personal device, I never recommend using a personal device on BES, because IT Policies tend to lock it down and nothing should be considered personal any longer when you are on BES

Wirelessly posted (Storm 9530)

I'm on a BES and its my personal phone. No issues what-so-ever. Our IT policy isn't as strict as some out there, the only thing I can't do is access the web via the BES.
