Default Received the Same Email

Thought I would add to this thread. I ordered through telesales on Friday 11/21/08 at approximately 3:00pm pacific. I just received the email stating that my order was being processed yesterday 11/26/08 8:01am.

I am confused that people who have ordered a day or even several days after me have seen their orders ship or already delivered. I called yesterday, and I was told no tracking number yet.

I am wondering how this order fulfillment is going. Anyhow, I am hoping that this will ship on Friday for a Sat delivery, or if I am real lucky, maybe it already shipped, just not updated in the system.

How many people here actually received shipment confirmation emails with the tracking number? I only counted a few on this thread.

I ordered mine on 11/21 and received it yesterday.

I ordered through my verizon rep (corporate rep) but was a personal phone.

Ordered 11/21 at 2pm. Told many different things by many different people (each and every one inaccurate until the final tracking info [shipped @ noon EST on 11/26]).

I had to call them (VZW).

Due to arrive tomorrow [11/28] at 10:30am, but somehow it's still stuck in Memphis, TN.

Thanks for your reply. So, I am assuming that you DID receive a shipment confirmation email, or did you just manually get the tracking information from the VZW rep?

Still no phone here. I'm getting a little annoyed and will be calling tomorrow... hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow. Argh!

Same here, I am wondering if it has shipped already, but there seems to be a delay with getting the tracking number. Some people never even got a tracking number, and their Storm was delivered.

Or perhaps this is all wishful thinking, and there will not be a shipment until the 5th! Noooooooooooooo hehe

I ordered mine in store on Friday the 21st at 6:00pm Central Time. I still have not tracking or phone yet. I have called and everytime I get the same answer, you ordered your phone late on Friday so it won't ship out until the 5th.

I ordered mine, when I walked into the store on the 21st. I ordered them to go get my phone out of the back of the store... But, someone at my office who ordered it online, on the 22nd, hasn't gotten anything yet about it...

I received the e-mail about the order being processed on Wednesday and about 10 hours later I received an e-mail stating the phone was shipped. I ordered mine at 10:30am on the 21st. Looks like its going to deliver today.

I spoke with a supervisor because I couldn't get a straight answer out of the rep's. It seemed like they all had different answers, but in the end I got a hold of someone who actually could give me accurate information.

I hope everyone gets an e-mail today that your order has been shipped!

There does not seem to be any logic in the way orders are processed. I'll bet they have an assembly line of order processors who simply print the next ticket in the queue then tag-and-bag the Storm for shipment.

Just called yet again and was told even though I placed my order online at 9:30am it wasnt processed in the system till the next day. So my order will ship on the 8th. WTF! Thanks Verizon!

That's bullcrap. Actually, the same thing happened to me. I ordered at approximately 8:00am on Friday 11/21/08, but my order did not get processed until approximately 3:00pm or so that same day. It looks like I am being penalized for this stunt also.

So it seems like there is a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number? Some people are not getting this email, but their Storm is being delivered before the expected delivery date.

Keep updating this thread; good info.

I'm really expecting/wanting a tracking number atleast by sunday, if i dont get one by then, im going to be calling verizon and seeing whats up.

Good news. Perhaps Verizon is monitoring this thread. (lol yeah right)

My rep. emailed me my tracking number. What I don't understand is why I did not get overnight shipping with Saturday delivery instead of 2 day delivery with a Tuesday delivery ETA. HAHA, first I was complaining that I had no tracking number, and now I am complaining that I did not get overnight shipping. I know, I know, be grateful for what I do have, and that is it finally shipping!

I am using a Virgin Mobile prepaid POS for the time being.

I said screw it! I found a best that had a few Storms in stock and just went and got one form there. I also got my activation fee waived, a free bluetooth headset, and an instant rebate! Yeah so in 3 weeks when I get my other storm from Verizon its going right back.

Phone is very cool by the way!
