Unhappy ANy way to use MS Activesync with BB?

Please Login to Remove!

I recently changed employers and we have been limited to use only smartphones with MS Activesync on the OS. I miss my Blackberry and want to know if there is any possible way to use this application on a BB? I work for a small bank and honestly think the IT department is not willing to update things and get with the times. ANy suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Do you think this is common within certain companies?

Some devices use ActiveSync, some don't. Blackberry doesn't use it. I don't know what you mean, "common."

Hey, I have a friend in your boat. Works for a bank, got a BB. he went and downloaded BB express and got email on his BB on his own. Now he is IT and can do that but officially the bank didn't support BB or BES but that was his work around. Otherwise, no WM on BB for sure.

It really depends on the particular company you're talking about. Most companies standardize on one platform or another.
